Meet Our Church Leadership Team

Pastor Dennis has been a part of the Church of the Nazarene since 1978. As a teenager, he was welcomed into the local youth group in Bridgeton, New Jersey, by a wonderful group of teen leaders who showed love and care for young people. Before long, he gave his life to Christ and became a member of the Nazarene Church in 1983. As he continued to grow in Christ, Dennis felt a passion to reach teenagers and help them navigate the road to a meaningful relationship with Jesus. Dennis became involved with youth leadership, and by 1989, he had become the local youth president and director. With the help of several dedicated youth workers with the same passion, they developed a youth group that reached teens throughout the community. The youth ministry successfully implemented a van ministry, utilizing four vans to transport young people to youth services. Using specialty outreach programs that emphasized reaching friends and family for Jesus, the youth group would outgrow their youth center and had to move into the church gym. By 2007, the Lord called Dennis into the pastoral ministry, and he was compelled to step aside from the youth ministry and begin his journey towards ordination. Pastor Dennis was granted a minister's licence, and in 2010, he joined the pastoral staff at the Bridgeton Church of the Nazarene in southern New Jersey. He completed his studies through Nazarene Bible College and was ordained 'Elder' in 2016. He continued to serve at the Bridgeton Church until 2021, when God opened the door to relocate to the Leighigh Valley, answering the call to be senior pastor at the Bangor Church of the Nazarene. Pastor Dennis has been married to his sweetheart, Debbie, since 1994. They have two wonderful children: Stephen, who is in college, and Elizabeth, in high school. In his leisure time, Pastor Dennis enjoys traveling, sports, and spending time with his family. He loves the people of the Church and enjoys fellowship with them whenever possible.
